Admission Procedure

• Admissions to BDS or MDS take place through the national-level NEET exam. NEET UG is mandatory for candidates wishing to be admitted to the BDS course. NEET MDS is compulsory for candidates who want to take admission to the MDS course at Mar Baselios Dental College Kothamangalam.
• To be eligible for the course, the student must attain a minimum of 50% in the 10+2 qualifying examination with science as the subject.
• The candidates will be qualified for admission by meeting the eligibility criteria.

• The candidate must also appear for the entrance examination (unless exempted from the same).

The following are the requirements for those who want to pursue a part-time Ph.D. course:

• The candidate must be a permanent teacher and academic/research/scientific staff with at least three years of continuous Post PG teaching experience at an institution affiliated with KUHS.
• The same applies to candidates with three years of post-postgraduate teaching and research experience at KUHS-affiliated universities and development laboratories under the Government of India, Government of Kerala.
• Candidates with five years of continuous teaching/research experience and three research publications qualify for the part-time Ph.D. program.  

Note: Candidates applying for part-time Ph.D. must have a No Objection Certificate from the institution they’re working in, stating they are permitted to pursue the same.
