Eligibility Criteria for BDS

You need to fulfil the eligibility criteria, in order to get to BDS Admissions. The criteria are:

• Aspirants must have passed higher secondary level examination or any other equivalent with minimum percentage of at least 50%, in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together for eligibility of admissions. For SC/ST/OBC Candidates, a reduction of 10% is given in the marks.
• Candidates who have passed B Sc Degree from any college or university, which is recognised by the UGC or its equivalent. He/she must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany or Biochemistry, as the main as well as subsidiary subject.
• He/She must be qualified in NEET.

BDS

BDS is popularly called Bachelor of Dental Surgery. The program consists of 4 ½ years of academics, which is followed by 1 year of rotatory internship. Complete course is divided in the following way:
