Admission Procedure for BDS

  • Students will be admitted to the BVDC’s BDS programme based on how well they performed on the All India Common Entrance Test or NEET.
  • At the time of admission, all candidates must bring their original documents from the list along with two sets of attested photocopies.
  • Students can fill out the Admission Enquiry form on the college’s official website if they have any questions about the admissions process for BDS admissions.

Admission Procedure for MDS

  • According to the candidate’s performance in the Bharati Vidyapeeth-conducted DENPET dental postgraduate entrance exam, they would be admitted to the MDS Program at the BVDC.
  • Candidates must receive at least 50% on the DENPET to be eligible for further admission.
  • The candidate from an SC or ST group needs to receive at least 40% on the DENPET.

Eligibility Criteria for BDS

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India. The applicant must have been born on or before December 31, 2000.
  • The candidate must have completed the NEET qualifying exams.
  • Candidates from the general category who get at least a 50 percentile in NEET and meet the requirements set forth by DCI will be admitted to the BDS programme.
  • Candidates from underrepresented groups (SC/ST) who achieve at least a 40 percentile on the NEET and meet the requirements set forth by DCI will be admitted to the BDS programme.
  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Mathematics, together with English as a core course, must be included in the Higher/Senior Secondary Examination, which is equal to the 10+2 exam.
  • Candidates who fall under the general category must have passed the qualifying test in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English separately, as well as in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology together, with a minimum score of 50%.
  • Candidates from the SC and ST categories must have passed Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English on their own, and they must have scored at least 40% on Physics, Chemistry, and Biology put together in the qualifying exam.

Eligibility Criteria for MDS

  • The applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • The applicant must have passed the BDS exam from a dental college that has been approved by the Dental Council of India.
  • The candidate must be permanently registered with either the Dental Council of India or one of the Indian State Dental Councils. If he doesn’t have it, he will need to register within a month after being admitted to the P.G. course; otherwise, his or her admission to the P.G. course would be revoked.
  • Before enrolling in the course, the candidate must have completed the required rotational internship by April 30 of the admission year and show proof of completion.
  • The applicant must receive at least 50% on the DENPET. The candidate from an SC or ST group needs to receive at least 40% on the DENPET.

For International Students

  • Foreign nationals applying for admission to the institution’s postgraduate programme must obtain temporary registration with the Dental Council of India for the period of their postgraduate studies, which is only allowed at the dental school to which they have been admitted.
  • Candidates who have completed a 2-year Post Graduate Diploma course in a particular specialty that has been approved by the DCI are eligible for admission to the 3-year MDS programme in that same specialty.
  • 50% of the available seats are under the management/Foreign/NRI category.
