Admission Procedure

• The only way to enroll in any medical program, including BHMS, is through the National Eligibility Component Entrance Test (NEET). Filling out an application form, receiving an admit card, sitting for the entrance exam, submitting your results, and going through counseling are all steps in the BHMS admissions process.

• Candidates for B.H.M.S. admission must have passed either the Higher Secondary Examination administered by the Tamil Nadu government or, after 12 years of study, an equivalent examination from any state or Central Board approved by the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University. 
• The following topics should have been passed in the aforementioned exams by the candidates: physics, chemistry, biology (including botany and zoology), and chemistry.
• OC: A minimum of 50% in Biology or Botany and Zoology combined, 50% in Physics, and 50% in Chemistry. The maximum aggregate should be 120 out of 200.
• BC: A minimum of 50% in biology, or biology and zoology together, and 50% in physics and chemistry. The maximum aggregate should be 110 out of 200.
• MBC: A minimum of 45% in Biology or Biology and Botany combined. Chemistry and Physics both scored at 45%. Ideally, the aggregate would be at least 100 out of 200.
• SC & ST: Biology or Botany and Zoology combined, 40% in Physics and Chemistry, and a minimum of 40% in each subject. not less than 80 out of 200 in total.
