Admission in A.J. Institute of Allied Health Sciences

Eligibility criteria

The following eligibility criteria are mandatory for admission in different courses at A.J. Institute of Allied Health Sciences –

For B.Sc. Courses

• Passed in 12th Standard or Equivalent examination approved by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
• Should have subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study.
• Candidates must obtain at least 50% marks in aggregate. 
• The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

For M.Sc. Courses

• Passed in 12th Standard or Equivalent examination approved by the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.
• Should have subjects Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects and English as one of the languages of study.
• Candidates must obtain at least 50% marks in aggregate. 
• Candidates must possess an Equivalent B.Sc. Degree in the same specialisation.
• He/She must score at least 50-55% marks in their undergraduate program.
• The candidate should have completed 17 years of age as on 31st December of the year of admission.

Admission Process 

Most of the Allied Health and Science colleges take admission based on the marks of the student’s previous degree programs. But some colleges prefer an entrance exam like KCET for granting admission to students who are willing to pursue a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree. For A.J. Institute of Allied Health Sciences, it is the same.
