Baroda Homeopathic Medical College Vadodara Overview

Baroda Homoeopathic Medical College was established in 1992 in Vadodara city. It was created by the Paradise Foundation Trust, led by Shri Manibhai A Shah (Vasanwala) and others. The college initially offered a Diploma course (D.H.M.S.) in Homoeopathy with 50 students. Since then, the College and Management have worked to improve the standard of Homeopathic education in the state. 

The faculty has provided quality education, and the students have consistently topped the Council’s Merit list every year. The college expanded its courses in 1996-97, offering a Bachelor’s course in Homoeopathy (B.H.M.S.) with an intake of 50 students, which was later increased to 100 in 2003.

The institute has received approval from two major governing bodies in India – the Central Council of Homoeopathy (CCH) and the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha & Homoeopathy (AYUSH) of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and the Department of Indian System of Medicine and Homoeopathy (ISM & H), Government of India.

Admission Process

  • BHMS

The admission process for the BHMS course at Baroda Homeopathic Medical College in Vadodara commences after the declaration of the 12th (HSC) Science and NEET exam results. 

For first-year B.H.M.S. admissions, the Gujarat State Government quota is 75%, the NRI quota is 15%, and the management quota is 10% of the total 100 seats available yearly.

Admission to the M.D. (Hom.) course is done every year after the AIAPGET exam. The process is centralized, and students are required to take a mandatory written test (AIAPGET) and counseling interview before admission.
