AJ Institute of Dental Sciences Mangalore Overview
AJ Institute of Dental Sciences is a brilliant multi-Speciality hospital cum college that is managed by Laxmi Memorial Trust(R). This educational organization was opened by Mr. A.J. Shetty.
The first batch of students was enrolled in the year 2002. The campus is spread over 30 acres of land of blushy green and the coastal of Mangalore City. The college has every time bus facility to the railway station, airport and bus stand.
AJIDS has well-built buildings and blocks of the campus. The college has all the latest instruments and materials used in dentistry. The classrooms are also well made with international standards. Apart from classrooms, the college has audio-visual and seminar rooms too.
AJ Dental College is affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences(RGUHS) and approved by the Dental Council of India. The institute is also approved by the Government and the Ministry of Karnataka. AJ Institute of Dental Sciences comes under the Karnataka Religious and Linguistic Minority or KRLM.

AJ Dental College Admission Process
The following are the step-by-step instructions for dental admission in AJ Institute of Dental Sciences Mangalore.
Step 1: NEET Qualification
Admission for BDS/ MDS is based on NEET-UG and NEET-MDS conducted by NTA and NBE. Candidates should qualify in the exam with a minimum required cutoff.
Step 2: Upload Documents and Fee Payment
Candidates must register with the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) to participate in the counselling. After filling out the application form, candidates must upload the required documents and make fee payment.
Step 3: Choice Filling Process

Step 4: Mock Allotment

BDS Eligibility Criteria
For admission towards BDS in AJ Institute of Dental Sciences, the following are the criteria:
- Candidate must pass 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- Candidate must score at least 50% in PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
- The candidate must compulsorily pass the English Subject during the 10+2 or equivalent examination.
- The candidate must be of at least 17 years of age during the admission procedure of that academic year.
MDS Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate must have a BDS Degree or Equivalent which is recognized by the Dental Council of India.
- Candidate must have attended the compulsory rotating internship after passing the final year university examination of BDS.

- Eligibility Certificate approved by RGUHS.

sir i passed my 12th grade with 93 percent in bio , 87 in phy and 84 in chem , i prepared for my entrance for a year bcoz my frst tym neet score was less , this time i secured only 202 marks for neet 2018 tho i am qualified sir , i want to know where i can get a bds admission for around 9 to 10 lakhs without donation , i need ur help , i am from kerala , and i opt to get admission anywhere in kerala , max the distance is mangalore where my parents can let me study sir , i hope you will get back to me soon , 🙁
Its one of the worst dental college in the region. The professors are just fit to teach Kindergarten. They never learned professionalism. They collected donation in lacks and completely failed to provide quality education.
In one word its just money making business and once you joined you will go through hell lot of scenarios created by the unprofessional teachers. Please stay away and never waste life here.. I still have one more year to struggle since my parents paid huge money. Also too much biasing for Kerala students..
