BIDS was founded by Mr. K. Subbarao. He is the chairman of the Educational Trust, Vignan Education Foundation which was established in the year 1991. Dr Siri Krishna and Dr Swaira Rao are the directors of the dental college. Both the directors of the dental college BIDS are MDS in Orthodontist and MDS in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery.
