Admission Process

BDS Eligibility Criteria

• Students are chosen based on the results of the National Eligibility and Entrance Test (NEET-UG).
• Candidates seeking admission must have passed the two-year Pre-University Examination of Karnataka’s Pre-University Board (or an equivalent qualifying examination from another recognized board) with English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as their core subjects. 
• The candidate must have secured at least 50% of the aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, as well as a pass in English in the qualifying examination, or any other examination recognized as equivalent by Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bengaluru (Bangalore), Karnataka. 
• Students from Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes (SC/ST) or other minority groups recognized by the government will be awarded a 10% reduction in the aggregate marks necessary for eligibility.

• The candidacy of a pupil enrolling on the MDS program at SDM Dental College must ensure that they have a BDS degree from an institution or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Dental Council of India. 
• Also, they must have finished a one-year rotational compulsory internship.
• The candidates must have qualified NEET-MDS examination.
