1st Year M.Tech PGCET

• Get the allotment order from KEA.
• The candidates must report at the Admission Section in the Library block.
• On the back of the DD, note down the Name, Mobile Number, and Branch name.

Eligibility Criteria

Diploma in Engineering

• Pass SSLC or its equivalent examination with a minimum of 35% in aggregate.
• Candidates under the Karnataka category should have studied in Karnataka for at least five years.

For Lateral Entry:

• The candidate must have passed the PUC examination with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects, along with Biology / Mathematics.
• The student must have passed 10+2 Science with Maths as one of the subjects or 10+2 Science with Technical Vocational subject.
• SSLC + Two years ITI with appropriate Trade are eligible for admission to second-year diploma courses of the program.

B.E Programs

• For undergraduate programs, college admission is through the entrance test.
• Common Entrance Test (CET), Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK), etc.,  are conducted by the  Karnataka Government.
• Candidates with good rankings are considered for admission.
• A pass in 10+2 or PUC or equivalent examination on the first attempt with Mathematics & Physics as compulsory subjects along with English as one of the languages.
• The candidate must get 45 % aggregate marks in Physics, Maths & any one of the subjects: Computer Science / Electronics, Chemistry / Biology.
• For the Candidates who belong to Karnataka SC, ST & other backward categories (Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B), the minimum marks should be 40% aggregate in the optional subjects.

M.Tech Programs

• Should pass in B.Tech or B.E. equivalent examination.
• By the university, a written test is conducted for candidates.
• A rank list is obtained on the marks.
• Based on this, the student will appear for admission.

• The first preference is given to candidates with valid PGCET/GATE scores.
