Admission and Selection Procedure of BDS and MDS Course

  • The applicant must meet all requirements to be admitted to the BDS programme.
  • Students will be admitted to the dental college entirely based on their merit or their ability to pass the “National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test to BDS and MDS course,” which was held for the relevant academic year.

Eligibility Criteria for BDS

  • He or she must turn 17 by the end of the year in which they are admitted to the BDS programme.
  • The candidate must achieve a passing score on the NEET-UG exam of 50% for the General Category, 45% for Persons with Disabilities, and 40% for the Reserved Category.
  • Candidates must be 10+2 PCMB graduates who received at least 50% in the general category and 40% in the SC/ST category.

  • The candidate must have completed a one-year mandatory rotational internship programme in a dental college that has been approved or recognised.
