Admission Procedure of BDS

• SRM Dental College Chennai will choose applicants for BDS (UG) admission through common counselling by DGHS (MCC).
• The DGHS, Government of India, will provide instructions on the admissions process.
• According to the timetable provided by MCC, those applicants who are chosen for admission are required to report to the dean’s office between the hours of 9 am and 5 pm.

• The All India PG Medical/Dental Counseling organized by DGHS will be used for MDS admissions at SRM Dental College in Ramapuram.

The NEET UG Exam is necessary. The potential candidate must have obtained a 10+2 qualifying exam grade point average of at least 50% or an equivalent degree from an accredited school. For their 10+2 grade, physics, chemistry, and biology must have been prerequisite courses. The NEET score is a requirement for admission to almost every college that offers this program. The candidate needs to get the required exam score to be accepted. Students who pass the admissions test are required to attend college-sponsored counselling sessions.

The NEET PG Exam is necessary. The applicant must have earned a Bachelor of Dental Science degree from an Indian dental school recognized and affiliated with MCI. He needs to have earned at least a 50% total grade. All applicants who finished the two-year PG Diploma in Dental Surgery are also qualified because it was recognized by the Dental Council of India.

PhD Admission Proccess

To pursue a doctoral degree, students and faculty members must first decide on their area of expertise, pick an acceptable advisor for their field of study, and submit an application to SRM University. The PhD programs are governed by the university’s department of medical research.
