BAMS Eligibility Criteria

Entrance Examination: NEET UG

Academic Qualification:

  • Secure a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in the PCB subjects in the 12th standard. Candidates belonging to the reserved category are given 10% relaxation.

The procedure for BAMS admission in India is carried out by the AACCC and the state counselling authorities under the supervision of the Ministry of Ayush. Step 1: Qualify NEET UG examination and register for Ayush Counselling in the AACCC portal for AIQ seats and the state counselling portal of the respective state for the state quota seats.

Step 2: Make payment of the counselling fees.

Step 3: Fill out the choices of colleges in the Choice filling/locking session.

Step 4: The Allotment List is published considering the NEET scores of the candidates, seats availability in the chosen colleges, and the reservation policy. 

Step 5: Find your name in the Allotment List and report to the allotted college. If not allotted, you may participate in the further rounds of counselling.

Step 6: The students allotted shall provide their original documents and certificates to the college for document verification.

Step 7: Make payment of the fees to the college as instructed by them within the payment time limit to finalize admission and confirm your seat in the college.

There are generally 4 rounds of counselling, which involve registration and choice filling in each round. The candidates who are not allotted in any round may participate in the further rounds of counselling.
