Eligibility Criteria for BDS Admission in Gujarat

  • The candidate must have qualified the NEET examination.
  • On or before December 31st of the year of admission, the applicant must have reached the age of 17. 
  • Education Qualification:
    1. The candidate must have earned at least 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (or Biotechnology) for the general category in the 10+2 exam (or its equivalent).
    2. For the General-PH category, an aggregate score of 45% is needed. 
    3. Reserved groups (SC, ST, and OBC) must receive a minimum of 40% of the total marks.

In Gujarat, the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Educational Courses (ACPUGMEC) is responsible for conducting the NEET UG counselling for BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) admissions.
