CENTAC handles the 85% state quota seats in the government college and the majority of seats in the private colleges, which include state, management, and NRI quotas.

The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for the deemed university in Pondicherry. MCC also manages the 15% All India Quota seats in the government dental college.

STEP 1: Qualify NEET-UG 2025

The first and most important step is to qualify for the NEET-UG 2025 exam with the required minimum percentile:

• General / EWS Category: 50th percentile (score range: 686–144)
• OBC Category: 40th percentile (score range: 143–113)
• SC Category: 40th percentile (score range: 143–113)
• ST Category: 40th percentile (score range: 143–113)
• UR / EWS – PwD Category: 45th percentile (score range: 143–127)
• OBC / SC / ST – PwD Category: 40th percentile (score range: 126–113)

STEP 2: Register for MCC NEET-UG Counselling

Deemed Universities fill 100% of their BDS seats through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
Register on the official MCC website mcc.nic.in during the specified dates for NEET-UG 2025 counselling.
Provide your NEET roll number, registration number, and other personal details.
Upload scanned copies of required documents, including:

• NEET UG scorecard
• Class 10 and 12 mark sheets and certificates
• Valid photo ID proof
• Category certificate (if applicable)

STEP 3: Choice Filling and Choice Locking

For BDS admission in Pondicherry under the Deemed University category, you must choose Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Pondicherry, as it is the only deemed dental college in the Union Territory.
Fill in this choice during the MCC counselling process and make sure to lock your choice before the deadline.

STEP 4: Pay the Application and Security Fees

Pay the required counselling fees online through the MCC portal:
