BAMS
Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, or BAMS, is an undergraduate degree in Ayurveda that spans 5.5 years, which includes 4.5 academic years and 1 year of internship. The program aims to provide the students with the basic fundamentals of Ayurveda with extensive clinical practices. The BAMS students get hands-on experience from the attached hospital of the college under the supervision of their mentors.
Along with ayurvedic subjects, the degree programme includes the study of contemporary anatomy, principles of medicine, pharmacology, physiology, toxicology, forensic medicine, social and preventive medicine, botany, ENT, and principles of surgery. The college accepts 60 students to the BAMS program every year.
