1. Students must have passed the 12^th standard/II PUC with a recognized board with forty percent marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as subjects optional, with English as the language.
2. For students belonging to the SC/ST category, the percentage of the qualifying marks is thirty-five per cent.

Eligibility criteria for the MPT course are:
