Mamata Medical College Admission Process

Mamata Medical College offers admissions for MBBS and PG (MD/MS) courses through a streamlined process overseen by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal, Telangana.

The Admissions process is divided into a Convener Quota (A-Category), a Management Quota (B-Category), and an NRI Quota (C-Category).

MBBS Admissions:

Convener Quota (50%): The 50% seats of this quota are allocated based on NEET marks/rank through counselling conducted by KNRUHS.

Indian Citizens: Indian National candidates, PIOs, or OCIs with local or non-local status in Telangana.

Eligibility Criteria:

→ Students should have passed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English, with minimum marks of 50% for General, 40% for BC/SC/ST, and 45% for OC-PH candidates.

→ Candidates should have qualified in NEET with 50 percentile for General, 40 percentile for BC/SC/ST, and 45 percentile for OC-PH.

Management (35%) and NRI (15%) Quotas: This quota is open to candidates across India.

Eligibility Criteria: The admission will be based on NEET merit. NRI candidates must provide supporting documents, including NRI status certificates and financial declarations.

PG (MD/MS) Admissions:

Convener Quota (50%): Admission is based on NEET PG scores, with eligibility extending to Indian Nationals, PIOs, and OCIs with MBBS degrees from recognized institutions

Internships must be completed by March 31 of the admission year. Reservations apply as per statutory provisions.

Management Quotas: Open to candidates nationwide, including NRIs. No reservations are applicable, and eligibility requires NEET PG qualification and MBBS degree from a recognized institution.

Super Specialty Courses (D.M./M.Ch.):

Admissions for this course are conducted by the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) based on NEET-SS scores.
