Admission Procedure

  • The candidate must first appear for NEET (UG/PG) before applying for a college. Without clearing NEET, you will not be eligible for admission. 
  • The candidates must adhere to the guidelines laid down by the Dental Council of India

Eligibility Criteria for BDS 

  • The candidate must appear for the NEET UG examination to be eligible for admission.
  • The College prescribed cutoff is the minimum marks prescribed by the college selection board for the admission of students. A merit list will be made on these.
  • Candidates should have passed Class 12th with at least an aggregate of 50% in PCB along with English as a subject as given by the NCERT.
  • 85%  of seats are already reserved for students who have completed HSC from the Tamil Nadu board, and the rest 15% are for all India quota.
  • Students should be at least completed 17 years of age as on December 31 of the year of admission.

Eligibility Criteria for MDS 

  • The candidate must appear for NEET-MDS. 
  • Candidates should have graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from a Dental college that is recognized by the Dentist Council of India. 
  • In addition, students applying for this course should have completed one year of mandatory rotatory residential internship.
  • Candidates who completed their CRRI in other states are not eligible for admission to this college.

A bachelor’s in Dental Surgery has four years of theoretical studies, which is usually followed by a year of compulsory rotatory internship, where students work in various departments under dentistry to learn and explore all fields.
