Admission Process for Undergraduate Programmes

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programmes:

For Management Quota

  • Candidate should be a minimum of 17 years of age.
  • Students who have passed the +2 exams in Kerala, or equivalent examinations, with at least 45% marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry / Biotechnology/ Computer Science / Biology combined are eligible for admission.
  • Lateral Entry: Pass in Polytechnic Diploma.
  • The necessary Qualification is +2 Science / Polytechnic Diploma.

For Government Quota

  • Students can apply under the government quota which has 50% reserved seats. These seats will be accordingly allotted by the CEE, the state government of Kerala.

Eligibility Criteria for Polytechnic Diploma

For Management Quota

  • Candidate should be a minimum of 16 years of age.
  • Students who have passed the SSLC/THSLC or equivalent examination are eligible.
  • Lateral Entry: Pass in + 2 Science.

For Government Quota

  • Students can apply under the government quota which is 50% reserved seats. Seats are allotted by the CEE, the state government of Kerala.

  • 10th standard mark sheet/Equivalent Certificate.
  • 12th standard marksheet.

Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.)

B.Tech is a four-year undergraduate study offered by the college, which is approved by AICTE and affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. 

The Bachelor of Technology Studies curriculum has been designed to offer students theoretical as well as practical knowledge on various issues that are handled in the world today. After completion of the course, students can apply in the fields of aviation, pharmaceutical and biotechnical, and semiconductor manufacturing, along with start-up companies converting the latest laboratory discoveries to large-scale commercial production, amongst other fields.

Polytechnic Diploma Courses

The Polytechnic Diploma is a three-year programme offered by the college. It is approved by the AICTE and also affiliated to the Directorate of Technical Education, state government of Kerala.

Students have to pay an extra amount of INR 10,000 at the time of admission, for lateral entry into the second year of the diploma programme.

  • In 2020, the college received approval for a Polytechnic Diploma in Automobile, Electrical, and Electronics from AICTE and the Department of Technical Education (DTE) government of Kerala.
  • During 2019-20, the college secured eighth rank in the A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) and was also ranked second among All Private Engineering Colleges in Kerala.
  • During 2018-19, ranked 19th in the A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) 1st year (S2) exam and secured eighteenth rank in the A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) 4th year (S8) exam.
  • In 2017-18, the first batch of the college achieved a 99% (subjectwise) pass in the final (S8) B.Tech examination.
  • During 2016-17, the college achieved the sixth rank in the A.P.J Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) (S3) exam; and secured second rank among all the Private Engineering Colleges in Kerala and achieved 90.54% result (subject wise) in the MGU exam.

Girls and boys students can avail of hostel facilities on campus.
