The NEET PG 2025 result was published on 19th August 2025. The counselling will probably start two weeks after the scorecard is published.

Step 1: Fulfilling the Eligibility Criteria
The first step is to confirm whether you are eligible for MD Radiotherapy admission in a deemed university. You must qualify NEET PG 2025 by securing the required cut-off. After you fulfill all the eligibility criteria mentioned above, you need to register for NEET PG MCC counselling. The official website for MCC Deemed University Counselling is https://mcc.nic.in/ug-medical-counselling/.
You must submit the NEET PG counselling application/registration form only once. Only candidates who qualify for All India Quota Postgraduate Seats are eligible for the online allotment process. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC), Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Government of India, conducts this process. Candidates who submit more than one application/registration form will be debarred from the counselling process, their candidature will be cancelled, and MCC of DGHS, MoHFW will take further action.
After you fill in all the required fields, you will receive an OTP on your registered email or phone number. You must use the email and phone number linked to your Aadhaar card. After this, you need to pay the counselling fees, which include a non-refundable registration fee and a refundable security deposit. For Deemed Universities, the registration fee is ₹5,000 and the security deposit is ₹2,00,000 for all categories.
Step 3: Choice Filling and Locking
After you complete the registration, you will receive a username and password. You must log in with your registered account to fill out the choices. Choice Filling means selecting colleges according to your preferences, fee structure, and your NEET PG rank. Choice Locking means confirming and locking the colleges you have selected.
You must fill and lock your choices of colleges offering MD Radiotherapy. Your preferred college should be your first choice, and you can place the remaining options after that. You must also choose the correct Institute Code while filling the choices. You can select an unlimited number of college options during this process.

Step 4: Seat Allotment Result
Seat allotment is the process where MCC allocates seats or publishes the NEET PG allotment result. The allocation depends on the candidate’s NEET PG rank, filled choices, and the seat matrix. The seat allotment happens in multiple rounds. In NEET PG 2024, MCC conducted five main rounds: Round 1, Round 2, Round 3, Stray Vacancy Round, and Special Stray Vacancy Round.
In Round 2, fresh registrations are allowed. Candidates can change their choices or retain the previously allotted seat if they do not want an upgrade. The Mop-Up Round fills vacant seats left after Round 2 or Round 3. The Stray Vacancy Round and the Special Stray Vacancy Round are the final rounds to fill any remaining seats, but no fresh registrations are allowed. MCC also publishes provisional results before announcing the final seat allotment result.
Step 5: Reporting to the Institute and Document Verification
Candidates who are allotted a seat in the seat allotment results must report to the respective college by the given deadline and complete the admission formalities. They must present their original documents for verification at the college.
If a candidate fails to report or does not provide the required documents, the allotted seat will be cancelled. Candidates must also pay the necessary fees and complete all joining formalities at the institute.
If you report to the college, present all the documents, and complete the admission process, but later decide to exit the admission or counselling process, you must pay a penalty amount to get your certificates back. The penalty amount differs depending on the counselling round in which you reported to the college.
