Kerala is a closed state for NEET UG counselling.Which implies you can apply for state quota seats only if you are able to fulfil the Kerala nativity or eligibility criteria. Then, you will not eligible for Government quota seats in Kerala if you are not a Keralite.

Kerala NEET UG Eligibility Criteria for Counselling

To be eligible for participating in the counselling, you need to satisfy the following criteria: 

  1. You must be a Keralite or fall under the Nativity Clause (Clause 6).
  1. You should have qualified NEET UG 2025.
  2. You must upload all required documents during application—such as:
    • Nativity certificate
    • Birth certificate
    • SSLC mark sheet
    • Caste/income/reservation certificates (if applicable)
  3. If you seek special reservation or fee concession, you must upload valid certificates during the application itself.

How to Apply for Kerala NEET UG Counselling (Step-by-Step Guide) 

Here’s how you should apply online at cee.kerala.gov.in:

Step 1: Registration

  • Create a profile using your:Name, Date of Birth, Email ID, Mobile number, Password
  • You will get a Application Number - so keep it safe. 

Step 2: Fill Application Form 

  • Choose the courses to which you are applying—MBBS, BDS, Ayurveda, etc.—and enter all the personal and academic details required.

Step 3: Pay the Application Fee

  • Pay the Application fee Online using Net banking OR Debit or Credit card.

Step 4: Upload Documents

Upload the following documents: 

  • Passport-size photo and signature (in JPEG format)
  • SSLC for DOB proof
  • Nativity certificate
  • Reservation documents (if applicable) and EWS, SEBC, SC/ST Caste Certificate (if applicable)

Step 5: Download Acknowledgement

  • After successful submission of the admission application, download & save the Application Acknowledgement Page.
