BHMS Full Form: Bachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery

Course Type: Professional and Undergraduate.

Course Duration: 4.5 years + 1-year compulsory internship.

PG Courses: MD Homeopathy.

Approximate fees: 2 lakhs – 3 lakhs/year.

Average Salary: 3 – 5.5 lakhs/year.

Job Type: Doctor.

BHMS is a highly demanding course after MBBS and BAMS. Most of the students prefer BAMS and BHMS equally, after MBBS.

BHMS Eligibility Criteria

The basic eligibility for taking direct admission in homeopathy colleges in India are given below.

Please do keep in mind that after completing BHMS you won’t be able to MS or simple words you cannot be a surgeon.

  • You must have completed your 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology with an aggregate of 50%.
  • You must have scored at least 50% in English.
  • You must at least be 17 years of age by December 31st of the year of taking direct admission to homeopathy college.
  • You must qualify for the NEET-UG entrance exam.
