The Directorate of Higher and Technical Education (DHTE), Government of Arunachal Pradesh, oversees the process through centralized counseling. State Quota Counseling Process:

• Online Registration: Post NEET results, the candidates need to register on apdhte.nic.in.
• Upload Documents: To verify, upload scanned documents of academic transcripts, NEET scorecards, and category or domicile certificates.
• Merit List Release: The Merit list of shortlisted candidates is released according to NEET ranks.
• Choice Filling: Applicants must select and reserve their first-choice institutions. 
• Seat Allocation: Provided based on availability and merit.

Eligibility Criteria

• Completing 10+2 years of education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English courses.
• It is necessary to receive at least 50% of aggregate marks (40% for reserved categories).
• Before December 31 of the entrance year, applicants must be 17 years old.

The Tomo Riba Institute of Health and Medical Sciences (TRIHMS) in Naharlagun is the only government medical college in Arunachal Pradesh to provide an MBBS degree.
