Under the affiliation of Dr. Shakuntala Misra National Rehabilitation University, T S Mishra Institute of Medical Sciences Lucknow offers both UG and PG courses like MBBS, MD / MS, and Paramedical Diploma Courses. It was established in 2015. Since then this private medical college has been serving Medical Science students with courses of extensive opportunities.

The whole course fee of the MBBS course is divided into some separate criteria. They are Tuition Fees (Rs. 12,99,199/-), Non A/C Hostel Fee (Rs. 1,50,000/-), Miscellaneous Fee (Rs. 85,600/-) and one time Security Amt. (Rs. 3,00,000/-). Each year at the start of the semester the students are expected to pay their course fee timely. The fee structure of PG courses are little different. For them the tuition fees are Rs. 21,63,946/-, the hostel fees are Rs. 3,00,000/-, Miscellaneous charges are Rs. 1,28,400/- and the security amount is a one-time payment of Rs. 5,00,000/-. This is the complete payment structure provided by the college. All facilities come under this payment and no extra amount is charged to students henceforth.

A well-furnished Hostel is available for all the students who will be admitted to different courses at this college. They only provide Non-A/C hostels for their MBBS students. They have to pay Rs. 1,50,000/- (per annum) for it. But for the PG courses, both A/C and Non-A/C accommodations are available.

The A/C hostels are charged Rs. 3,00,000/- (Per annum) and non-a/c hostels are charged Rs. 2,50,000/- (Per annum). These are taken with the course fee at the start of each year. This hostel and mess facility comes with in-term furniture and daily needs. If any candidate wants to change their type of accommodation, they have to request it within 6 months after their admission.

• Candidates are required to be over 17 Years of Age. It is calculated before 31st December of the Year he wants to take admission.

There are various things that students could engage themselves in on the campus of TS Mishra Medical College and Hospital Lucknow. Those facilities are the Lecture Hall, Examination Hall, Demonstration Hall, Common Room, Labs, Library, Computer Lab, Central Research Lab, and Museum –

Lecture Hall

There are 5 Gallery-type lecture halls at TS Mishra Medical College and Hospital Lucknow. Out of them, 4 lecture halls have 180 seats. They are situated in the academic block. And the other one has 200 seating capacity which is situated at the Hospital block. The Lecture halls have a pitched floor so that those in the rear are seated higher than those at the front. This allows them to see the lecturer clearly. Lecture halls are excellent for focusing the attention of a large group on a single point. As the era is evolving these modern lecture halls are decorated with advanced equipment which makes it suitable for audio-visual presentations and seminars. A microphone and a large projector screen are there. The lecturer could use them to give proper studies to the students. In addition, the acoustic properties of the lecture halls are helpful for the listeners.

Examination Hall

The examination Hall of this medical college has a capacity of 250 students. It has adequate desks and writing benches arranged. This arrangement gives sufficient space between two students, helping them to take their exams without disturbance. The examination hall is equipped with printing and other facilities, which are required for conducting examinations.

Demonstration Hall

7 types of demonstration halls are available here. These are divided into many departments. Those departments are Anatomy, Physiology, Biochemistry, Pathology, Microbiology, Forensic Medicine, and Community Medicine. Each of those departments has 2 rooms with a capacity of 75 students. All demonstration rooms are facilitated with all modern facilities including strip chairs, Overhead Projector, Slide Projector, Television, Video, and other audio-visual aids.

Common Room

There is a separate boys’ and girls’ common rooms with adequate facilities. Each of them is 268 Square meters. Students can use them to spend time at their leisure.

Labs

Based on Anatomy there are 4 different labs on the college campus. Each lab is divided into dissection halls. All these have an area of nearly 100 – 325 square meters.

Library

The reading facility of TS Mishra Medical College and Hospital Lucknow is top-notch. Their library has a state-of-the-art, fully air-conditioned facility which is spread over an area of about 2400 sqm. It has a rich collection of the latest books and national and international journals.

Museum

The Departmental Museum caters to a collection of objects of academic interest. It is in the form of mounted specimens, dry specimens, models, plates, charts, etc. There are eight Departmental Museums in the Departments of Anatomy, Pathology, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, General Surgery, Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The catalog system in the museum is maintained according to MCI criteria. This provides the students’ knowledge under the guidance of teachers for the subject of their interest. There are sitting arrangements in the museum where faculties and students can sit and read the museum specimens in detail. It becomes helpful for knowledge and research purposes. A museum register which has been periodically updated, is well maintained in the Department. There is a provision for preparing the specimen and models in the departments are available for making the museum expandable.
