I have witnessed a lot of students asking if BNYS is a good course or not. Don’t worry, in this section will tell you the basic details about the BNYS course. This is just an overview of the course.

BNYS is a professional course that is approved by AYUSH. It is one most popular yoga and naturopathy courses in Bangalore. The total course duration is 4.5 years of studies and 1 year of compulsory internship.

The major things covered in the course are ayurvedic treatments, naturopathy treatments, and yoga. Most of the academic sessions after the 1st and 2nd years will be practicals with yoga.

The students can choose a specialization from ayurvedic sciences or pharmaceuticals in ayurvedic treatments. The main aim of the course is to provide practical knowledge of healing patients without the use of allopathic medicines or no medicines.

I list a few subjects you must learn during the course to give you an idea. It differs from university to university, but still, you can keep these in mind:

  • Herbology.
  • Nutrition.
  • Massage Chiropractors.
  • Toxicology.
