Admission Procedure

Ph.D. Admission Process

The procedure for admission to the Ph.D program is as follows:

1. The Research Supervisor’s List publishes the number of available seats in various specializations under different disciplines. Candidates interested in pursuing a Ph.D degree should consult one of the listed guides and submit their application in the prescribed form through the proper channel.

2. Candidates must score a minimum of 50% in the Entrance Test to be eligible for an interview. However, candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC (Non Creamy Layers)/Differently-abled category are allowed a relaxation of 5% marks.

3. An Expert Panel conducts the interview for Ph.D scholars based on their performance in the Entrance Test and the chosen discipline. The selection is strictly based on the rank list prepared for that discipline.
