There are in total 47 Private medical colleges in Karnataka (Including St Johns Medical College). The total Intake of the MBBS seats in these colleges combined comes to around 8745. I will mention brief details about each medical college, its Intake capacity, and its facilities.

Starting from Gulbarga which is an overnight journey from Bangalore via bus, and train. There are two Private medical colleges in Gulbarga, MRMC & KBN.

The college offers lower fees for NRI and Q quota seats compared to other institutions.

There is One Medical College which is at a very close distance from Bengaluru in a place called Belur. It is known as AIMS.

3. Adicunchungiri Institute of Medical Sciences

Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS-Bellur) is located 133 km from Bangalore International Airport. Founded in 1985 by Sri Sri Sri Balgangadharnatha Maha Swamiji, it’s affiliated with RGUHS and recognized by MCI.

Medical Colleges in Bijapur (Karnataka). There are two Private Medical Colleges in the historic city of Gol Gumbaz and Buland Darwaza. This place is also approximately an overnight journey from Bengaluru. Both are very old Private Medical Colleges in Karnataka. One is a Private Medical Deemed University and the other is under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health and Sciences

4. Al-Ameen Medical College and Hospital, Bijapur
