List of Medical colleges in Vijayapura

There are two Private Medical Colleges in the historic city of Gol Gumbaz and Buland Darwaza. This place is also approximately an overnight journey from Bengaluru. Both are very old Private Medical Colleges in Karnataka. One is a Private Medical Deemed University and the other is under the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health and Sciences.

The total intake in Vijayapura medical colleges equal to 350 seats from private colleges and there are no government medical colleges in Vijayapura.

4. Al-Ameen Medical College and Hospital, Bijapur

Al Ameen Medical College, established in 1984 in Bijapur, spans 200 acres. It offers:

• 150 MBBS seats
• 116 postgraduate seats
• 500-bed super specialty hospital
• Specialized women’s hospital

5. BM Patil Medical College and Research Center / BLDE University

BLDE University is a private medical institution in Bijapur (Vijayapura), 536 km from Bangalore.
