Two major portals to register is KEA and MCC.

In MCC, for the deemed Universities, a student has to pay a Non Refundable registration fee of Rs.5000 and a Refundable Security deposit of Rs.200000. Then they get eligible to do the option entry. Whereas in KEA, a student can apply by paying a registration amount of 2000. The refundable security deposit of Rs 1 lakh is charged at the Mop Up round.

The point to Note in KEA counseling is – One cannot add an option after 1st round of counseling; however, one can delete the options of the colleges from their list.

There are three rounds of online counseling in MCC and two rounds of online counseling in KEA. In kea, the third round of counseling is in the offline mode at the KEA center. Then comes the stray vacant or the Offline mop-up round, which is taken care of at the college level itself.
