Eligibility Criteria for MBBS Admission in Top Private Medical Colleges in Karnataka – 2024
NEET UG
Qualifying NEET is a must to study medicine in India. It is the only criterion for admission to any medical course. To get MBBS admission to Rajiv Gandhi University colleges or private medical universities in Karnataka, you must qualify for NEET.
No NEET eligibility means you cannot take medical admission.
In 2023 NEET, the minimum eligibility score was:
- 720 to 137 for general/non-Karnataka students
- 136 to 107 for reserved category Karnataka students
Without qualifying for NEET, you are not eligible for medical admission in India.
Eligibility Criteria for PG Medical Admission in Top Private Medical Colleges in Karnataka -2024
NEET PG
To study any postgraduate medical course in India, securing minimum qualifying marks in NEET-PG is mandatory. MBBS graduates who completed internships must qualify NEET-PG for admission to PG medical courses in Karnataka colleges.
Even for management quota seats, qualifying NEET-PG is required. NEET-PG eligibility is compulsory for direct admission under the NRI quota as well.
For PG medical admission in any private medical college under KEA or private deemed universities, an MBBS graduate must have NEET-PG eligibility.
In NEET PG 2023, the minimum eligibility score was:
