The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (Undergraduate) (NEET-UG) is a national-level entrance exam for undergraduate medical and para-medical courses in India. It is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and is held once a year. NTA conducted  NEET UG 2024 in 568 cities across India and abroad. Organizers expect over 20 Lakh candidates to take the medical entrance exam this year. The exam is meant for students pursuing MBBS, BDS, BSc Nursing, and other Biology major degrees.

NEET UG 2024 Counselling: The NEET 2024 counselling is set to proceed as planned, with a tentative start date of July 6, 2024.

The NEET Counselling 2024 process will begin in July 2024, approximately one month after the NEET 2024 results are announced. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will oversee the counselling for MBBS, BDS, and BSc Nursing seats across India.To participate in NEET Counselling 2024, candidates must have qualified the NEET 2024 exam and meet the specified eligibility criteria. The counselling process involves the following steps:

  1. Registration: Candidates must register online on the MCC website and pay the required fees.
  2. Choice Filling: Registered candidates can select their preferred colleges and courses based on availability and eligibility.
  3. Seat Allotment: Seats will be allocated based on candidates' preferences, NEET 2024 ranks, seat availability, and reservation criteria.
  4. Document Uploading: Candidates must upload the necessary documents, such as the NEET admit card, scorecard, and identity proof, for verification.
  5. College Reporting: Candidates must report to the allotted college and complete the admission process.

The NEET Counselling 2024 will include four rounds: NEET AIQ Round 1, NEET AIQ Round 2, AIQ Mop-up Round, and AIQ Stray Vacancy Round. The counselling process is expected to extend over four to five months, with approximately six rounds in total.The NEET Counselling 2024 fee structure is as follows:

  • Registration Fee: ₹1,000 for General/OBC/EWS candidates, ₹500 for SC/ST/PwD candidates
  • Admission Fee (Refundable): ₹10,000 for General, ₹5,000 for SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD
  • Private University Fee (Refundable): ₹2,00,000 for all categories

NEET UG 2024 RE-Exam: Fresh Re-Exam admit cards released for 1563 candidates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released fresh admit cards for the neet 2024 neet ug 2024 re-exam on June 23.

These neet ug 2024 admit cards are available for download on the official NTA website neet.ntaonline.in.

This neet ug 2024 re-exam is only for the 1563 candidates who had received grace marks from NTA due to loss of exam time during the original neet ug 2024 exam. These candidates now have the option to either appear for the re-exam or accept their actual neet 2024 marks without the grace score.

How to Download Your NEET UG 2024 Re-Exam Admit Card

Follow these simple steps to download your neet admit card 2024 for the re-exam:

  1. Visit nta.ac.in - the official NTA website.
  2. Click on "Download Admit Card for NEET UG 2024 Re-Exam".
  3. Log in with your application number and date of birth.
  4. Your NEET-UG 2024 admit card will be displayed.
  5. Download and print a copy for the re-exam.

KEAM 2024 Update: Fresh Applications and Course Addition

The Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE) has issued an important update regarding KEAM 2024. The update includes fresh applications and course addition for admission to Architecture and Medical & Medical Allied courses.

KEAM 2024 Fresh Applications

For candidates who have not yet submitted applications under KEAM 2024, fresh online applications are invited for admission to Architecture and Medical & Medical Allied courses. These candidates must register through the link "KEAM 2024-New Application" on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in. After completing the 5 steps for submission of the online application, candidates should download the Application Acknowledgement Page and keep a copy for future reference.

KEAM 2024 Course Addition

For candidates who have already submitted applications under KEAM 2024 for any of the courses, facilities have been made available to add Medical & Medical Allied courses or Architecture courses as per their eligibility. To add courses, candidates should enter the home page through the link "KEAM 2024-Candidate Portal" on the website www.cee.kerala.gov.in by giving Application Number and Password. By clicking the menu "Add Course", candidates can select and add courses.

KEAM 2024 Important Points

  • Candidates who have already submitted applications should not submit fresh applications. They can add courses to their already submitted application.
  • Fresh applicants must submit required supporting documents along with the online application to substantiate claims for reservation or fee concessions.
  • The facility for online submission of fresh applications and course addition will be available up to June 19, 2024, 6 PM.

NEET 2024 Exam to be Recounted for 1,563 Candidates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the NEET (UG) 2024 exam will be reconducted on June 23, 2024, for 1,563 candidates who were given grace marks due to loss of time at the exam centre on May 5, 2024. The result of this exam will be declared on June 30, 2024.

  • Cancellation of Scores: Scores of the 1,563 candidates who were given grace marks have been cancelled.
  • Option to Retest: These candidates will be given the option to take the retest.
  • Result for Non-Test Takers: Results of the students who would not appear for the re-NEET 2024 will be based on their scores obtained in the May 5, 2024, exam, without the grace marks.

NEET 2024 Result is Live: National Testing Agency, NTA has declared NEET 2024 Result on 4 June 2024. The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test results for undergraduate courses is available on the official website of NTA NEET at exams.nta.ac.in/NEET. The results will also be available on neet.ntaonline.in.

Along with NEET result, NTA will announce names of all India toppers and category-wise cut-off marks and percentile ranks. The final answer key was released on earlier (June 3, 2024). This Year the results was declared soon after the final answer key is released.

NEET UG entrance examination was conducted on May 5, 2024. The provisional answer key was released on May 29 and the objection window was closed on June 1, 2024.

The NTA will prepare the Merit List/All India Rank (AIR) as per Qualifying/eligibility criteria and other norms as well as the relevant regulations/guidelines of NMC/DGHS/MCC/DCI and Ministry of AYUSH/NCISM/NCH /AACCC, as the case may be.

NEET UG 2024 Cutoff was higher than expected this year with 164 as the minimum score limit for the General category, check out the detailed description of the cutoff table given below:

  • For the Unreserved/EWS (UR/EWS) category, the cut-off percentile is the 50th percentile, with a cut-off score range of 720 to 164. The number of candidates in this category is 1,165,904.
  • For the Other Backward Classes (OBC) category, the cut-off percentile is the 40th percentile, with a cut-off score range of 163 to 129. The number of candidates in this category is 100,769.
  • For the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, the cut-off percentile is the 40th percentile, with a cut-off score range of 163 to 129. The number of candidates in this category is 34,326.
  • For the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category, the cut-off percentile is the 40th percentile, with a cut-off score range of 163 to 129. The number of candidates in this category is 14,478.
