Admission to all the Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy courses is done through the AP Ayush counselling, which is handled by the  Dr NTR University of Health Sciences. According to the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM), there are 2 Unani colleges, 7 BHMS colleges, 3 BNYS colleges, and 3 BAMS colleges in Andhra Pradesh. 85% of the seats are reserved for state quota under the Andhra Pradesh Ayush Counselling, generally offered for domicile students. Registration

Choice Filling/ Locking

1.After successful registration with the counselling authority, the candidates can participate in the Choice Filling, where they can choose their preferences of colleges from the list of available colleges in the state. 
2.The candidates are given a deadline to complete the choice filling and lock their choices. If the choices are not locked, their allotment cannot be processed, and they will not be allotted to any colleges.

Allotment Process

4.Generally, there are 3 to 4 rounds of counselling. If allotted a college in the first round, they can move to the next steps; if not allotted during the first round, they may participate in the further rounds.

The AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC) is the authority conducting the counselling for the AIQ seats.
