Gujarat Ayush Counselling 2025 is the state counselling for Ayush courses such as BAMS/BNYS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC). Admission to the program is offered purely based on the NEET scores and through the Gujarat state counselling. Both private and government colleges recognized by the NCISM and NCH accept students under the State Quota and All India Quota.
The Gujarat Ayush Counselling registration has started from 5th July, 10:00 AM to 18th July, 12:00 PM. The document verification started on 7th July and will take place up to 19th July 2025.
The NEET-UG exam was held on 4th May 2025, and the NEET-UG results were out on 14 June 2025.

Gujarat Ayush Counselling Overview
Gujarat Ayush Counselling is supervised by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC). For participating in the counselling, the eligible candidates need to register with the Gujarat Ayush Counselling official website at https://www.medadmgujarat.org/. Admission to the Ayush courses is only based on the NEET-UG scores of the current year.
While Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy are the Ayush courses, Gujarat offers only BAMS and BHMS colleges. There are a total of 48 BHMS and 44 BAMS colleges in Gujarat as per the year 2025, according to ACPUGMEC.
The majority of the seats in the state are reserved for students with Gujarat domicile, with 85% of the seats allocated under the State Quota. Students from other states can apply to the Self-Financed BAMS and BHMS colleges under the All India Quota (AIQ), which reserves 15% of seats. The AIQ seats for counselling are under the Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC).

Gujarat Ayush Counselling Eligibility Criteria
Below are the eligibility criteria for admission to Ayush courses. The candidates must strictly follow the requirements to participate in the Gujarat Ayush Counselling 2025.
Academic Qualification
- The candidates should have passed in 10+2 and obtained a minimum aggregate of 50%, together in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects, in the case of the general category, and 40% marks in the case of the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC).
Entrance Examination
- NEET-UG qualification is mandatory for admission to Ayush courses. Candidates must obtain a minimum mark of the 50th percentile in the NEET examination.
- In case of reserved category candidates (SC/ST/OBC), the minimum mark to obtain is the 40th percentile in the NEET examination.
Age Limit
- The age of the candidates must not be less than 17 years on 31 December of the year of admission.
Domicile Requirement
- The candidates who studied 10+2 in Gujarat can only apply to the private and government colleges under the Government and Management Quota.
- The students with 10+2 from other states apart from Gujarat can apply for self-financed colleges under the 15% of AIQ seats.

Gujarat Ayush Counselling Process
Gujarat Ayush Counselling is conducted for admission to BAMS and BHMS colleges in the state. NEET-qualified students from Gujarat and other states can participate in the counselling.
- Gujarat domicile candidates can participate in the counselling under the 85% seats of the State Quota

Gujarat state counselling for Ayush courses: BAMS/BNYS/BUMS/BSMS/BHMS are conducted by the Admission Committee for Professional Undergraduate Medical Courses (ACPUGMEC). Currently, Gujarat offers 44 BAMS and 48 BHMS colleges approved by the NCISM and NCH. Gujarat Ayush Counselling allows the state domicile students to take admission under the 85% seats of state Quota, and students from other states to apply for 15% of seats under the All India Quota (AIQ). NEET-qualified students are only eligible for participation in the counselling.
