Bihar Ayush Counselling Overview

Bihar Ayush Counselling is conducted for admission to BAMS, BUMS & BHMS courses by the  Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). The candidates should register themselves with the Bihar Ayush Counselling official website at https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/ for participating in the counselling. The NEET-UG examination conducted by NTA is the mandatory qualification required for applying to the UGMAC (Ayush). In order to participate in the counselling, NEET-qualified candidates must possess higher secondary education in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects. 

Bihar has 10 BAMS colleges, 15 BHMS colleges, and 5 BUMS colleges participating in the state counselling. The state counseling reserves 85% of seats for the domicile students of Bihar under the state quota. The students from other states/non-domicile students can apply to Ayush colleges in Bihar only through the 15% of seats under the All India Quota, which is managed by the AACCC.

Bihar Ayush Counselling Eligibility

The following are the requirements to be eligible to participate in the Bihar Ayush Counselling 2025.

Entrance Examination

  • All the candidates must be NEET-UG 2025 qualified to participate in the counselling.

Academic Qualification

  • Candidates must have 10+2 in the science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects and should have passed in the English subject.
  • Candidates belonging to the unreserved category must obtain an aggregate of 50% in the PCB subjects taken together in their 12th standard.
  • Candidates belonging to the reserved category shall obtain 40% aggregate in the PCB subjects taken together in their 12th standard.

Age Limit

  • In the year of admission, the candidate must be at least 17 years of age.

Domicile Requirement

  • Candidates must possess a valid domicile of Bihar to participate in the counselling under the state quota.
  • Non-domicile candidates can only participate in the counselling under the All India Quota.

Bihar Ayush Counselling Process- State Quota

The following is the detailed procedure involved in the Bihar Ayush Counselling 2025 for admission to seats under the state quota.

Registration

  • Candidates must visit the Bihar Ayush Counselling official website at https://bceceboard.bihar.gov.in/ and click on Apply Online through the Online Application Portal of UGMAC (Ayush)-2025.
  • Register for the counselling using the mobile number and email id. OTP will be sent to the email id for registration.
  • Provide personal and academic information and upload your photo and signature.
  • Make payment of the counselling fee as prescribed, and after registering successfully, download the online application form for future reference.

Publication of Merit List

  • The merit list is published on the official website on the basis of the NEET-UG ranks.

Choice Filling

  • On the basis of the merit list of eligible candidates, the choice of colleges can be filled according to the preference of the candidates. It is mandatory to lock the choices after selection.

Seat Allotment

  • Seats are allotted on the basis of NEET-UG scores, merit rank, reservation policy, and choice of colleges.
