Jharkhand Ayush Counselling 2025 is conducted for admission to Ayush Courses such as BAMS, BNYS, BUMS, BSMS & BHMS. The state counselling for admission to Ayush courses is conducted by the Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board(JCECEB). NEET-UG qualified candidates can only participate in the counselling, and the admissions are solely based on the NEET ranks. Jharkhand counselling offers seats under both the State and All India Quota. 

The NEET-UG 2025 examination was held on 4 May 2025; NEET-UG results were published on 14 June 2025. The JCECEB Counselling dates for Ayush courses have not yet been published.

Jharkhand Ayush Counselling Overview

Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board(JCECEB) conducts the Jharkhand Ayush Counselling for Ayush Courses. To participate in the counselling, the eligible NEET-UG candidates must register with the Jharkhand Ayush Counselling official website at https://jceceb.jharkhand.gov.in/. Admission to the courses is solely based on the NEET-UG scores of the current year.

Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy are the ayush courses, for which the counselling is undergone. However, Madhya Pradesh offers private and government homeopathy colleges recognized by the National Commission for Homeopathy for the Jharkhand counselling, as currently, there are no BAMS colleges in Jharkhand accepting students for the program through counselling.

Jharkhand reserves its 85% seats for domicile students of Madhya Pradesh under the State Quota. Students from other states/ non-domicile students can also apply to BHMS colleges in Jharkhand under the 15% seats of All India Quota (AIQ), conducted by the Ayush Admissions Central Counseling Committee (AACCC).

  • Candidates must have a 10+2 from a recognized board in 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as core subjects.

Jharkhand Ayush Counselling is carried out for admission to the BHMS colleges in Gujarat. NEET-UG qualified candidates can apply to the colleges through the Jharkhand counselling under different quotas.

  • Domicile students of Jharkhand can participate in the JCECEB counselling under the 85% seats of the state quota, reserved for them.

Important Points to Note

  • The whole JCECEB Counselling process is carried out in multiple allotments (Round 1/ Round 2/ Round 3/ Stray Vacancy Round), with each round starting from registration to admission to the allotted college.
  • Candidates who are not allotted seats in any rounds, or did not join the allotted college, or gave their willingness to upgrade the seats, can participate in the subsequent rounds. Fresh candidates in each round have to register with fee payment for the allotment.
  • The Stray vacancy Round will be conducted for the vacant seats after allotment of the previous 3 rounds.
  • Fresh choices are filled in each round, and there are no restrictions on the number of preferences. Candidates can fill as many preferences as possible.

 Registration & Fee Payment

  • Register with the official website of AACCC at aaccc.gov.in  by providing the necessary personal and academic details and uploading the relevant certificates and documents.
  • Make payment of the counselling fee and register successfully.

Choice Filling/ Locking

  • During the choice filling session, candidates need to choose the state and colleges according to their preference. It is mandatory to lock the choices before the last date.

Seat Allotment

  • Seats are allotted in multiple rounds- Round 1/ Round 2/ Mop-Up Round/ Stray Vacancy Round.
  • In each round, participants need to register and fill in the choices of colleges. Already registered candidates any any rounds do not register again for the next round.
  • Allotment is made based on the NEET-UG score, reservation policy, seat availability, and choice of colleges by the candidates.

Publishing of Allotment Result

  • The Allotment Result is published on the official website of AACCC. Log in to the portal with your credentials and download the Allotment Letter.

Reporting to Allotted College

  • Candidates who are allotted seats must report to the respective college and submit the necessary original certificates and documents for verification.
  • Make payment of the prescribed college fee within the time frame provided to confirm seat at the college.
