Karnataka Ayush Counselling is the Karnataka state counselling conducted for AYUSH Courses: BAMS, BNYS, BUMS, BSMS, and BHMS. The counselling is carried out by the state counselling authority, Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA). NEET-qualified candidates only can participate in the KEA AYUSH Counselling.

The state Ayush Counselling for Karnataka is undertaken for admission to Ayurveda, Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha & Homeopathy colleges. https://cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea/ is the Karnataka Ayush Counselling official website where the candidates can register themselves for admission to the above courses.  

KEA AYUSH Counselling comprises counselling of the 85% Ayush seats, reserved for the domicile students. 

The remaining 15% are All India Quota seats handled by the AACCC. Non-Domicile students can apply for Karnataka colleges through AIQ quota under AACCC Counselling.

Karnataka accommodates 82 BAMS colleges, 18 BHMS colleges, 5 BUMS colleges, and 10 BNYS colleges, which include both private and government establishments. Admission to these colleges is only accepted through the Karnataka AYUSH counselling.

The NEET qualified candidates shall register themselves on the State Ayush Counselling website and make payment of the counselling fees as per their category and other implied policies.

Karnataka Ayush Counselling Process 2025

Here is the detailed procedure involved in the Karnataka Ayush counselling for Karnataka domicile students.

  • Registration

The candidates who qualify for the NEET UG examination must register themselves with the KEA official website for counselling by filling out the online application with the necessary personal details. 

  • Document Verification

After completing the registration, the necessary documents and certificates need to be uploaded as per the guidelines given. These documents include educational certificates, identity proof, birth certificate, and domicile certificate. The concerned authority will verify the documents and confirm the authenticity.

  • Option Entry

After document verification, the candidates will be given access to fill in their choices of college in the option entry form. Fill in the choices of colleges considering the eligibility and personal preferences. 

  • Mock Allotment

After the option entry, a Mock Allotment is carried out as per the options entered by the candidates in the order of merit. Based on this, a candidate can get an indication of allotment of college/course/stream as per their priority of options.

  • Registration & Fee Payment

The candidates must register themselves with the official website of AACCC at https://aaccc.gov.in/. Provide personal details and upload the necessary documents as instructed. Make payment of the fees and complete the registration proess.

  • Choice Filling/ Locking

The registered candidates can participate in the choice filling round where they can opt for Karnataka state, and their preferred colleges within the list. It is mandatory to lock choices before the deadline to process the application to further rounds.

  • Processing of Seat Allotment

The allotment is processed in 4 rounds, including Mop-up and Stray Vacancy Round. The seats are allotted to participants in private colleges in Karnataka after considering their NEET scores, College preference, and the Reservation policy.

  • Publication of Allotment List

The final list of the allotment is published after processing of multiple rounds. The candidates may log in to the official website of AACCC with their credentials and find their name on the list.

  • Document Verification

The allotted students shall attend the document verification at the designated centers and collect the verification slip.

  • Reporting to the College

The allotted students should report to the college with their original documents to finalize the admission formalities. They shall also pay the fees prescribed by the college within the time frame provided to confirm seat at the college.

Forfeiture of Fees/ Seats Cancellation Process

  • If an applicant allotted seats in any discipline in the first round, and who reported to the college, wants to surrender or cancel the seat before the last date of option entry for the second round, Rs 5000/- will be deducted as processing fee and Rs 5000/- as the penalty by KEA. The remaining fee is refunded to the candidate.
  • The candidates who surrender seats after the second round allotment, the entire fee paid will be forfeited.
  • No cancellation or surrendering of seats will be allowed after the Mop-up round.
  • In case the candidate reports to the college and decides to leave the college later, they shall surrender their seat back to KEA before the Mop-up round.
