1. The First step after qualifying for NEET-UG is to get register online with the Karnataka Examination Authority. The KEA website will host the calendar of events on their official website. The calendar of events will notify the dates for Registration, Document verification, option entry, Fee Payment, uploading of Admission order letter, and last date for online and offline reporting to the college.

2. There would be a separate refundable/adjustable security deposit of approximately 1 lakh(as per 2023 for participation in stray vacancy round counseling) lakh to register for KEA counseling of such seats apart from a Non-refundable registration amount of Rs 500 to Rs 3000.

For academic session 2024 , the KEA will start new registration from 15^th June 2024 to 18th June 2024.

Procedure for applying to the Private Medical Colleges in Bangalore under Deemed University

1. For the Deemed Universities in Bangalore, a student has to apply through MCC.  This authority is responsible for counseling MBBS seats of the private DEEMED Universities in Karnataka and all over India.

2. There would be a separate refundable/adjustable security deposit of approximately 2 lakh to register for counseling of such seats apart from a Non-refundable registration amount of Rs 5000.

The students who are opting for NRI Seats have to pay the same registration amount.

The Fee structure in private medical colleges in Karnataka has been broadly differentiated into four categories.

MBBS Admission in Bangalore: Government Quota

Such  Fee structure is applicable to state-domicile medical aspirants who have secured a very high ranking in NEET and have been able to bag a seat according to state ranking. The fee is comparatively very low and only high-ranking meritorious students of Karnataka domicile are eligible to get such seats.

MBBS Admission in Bangalore: Private Quota

Students from all over India can apply for such seats through KEA Counselling. Such seats are also called open seats since Karnataka state invites the application of meritorious students from all over India to participate in such counseling.

The fee structure for such seats is the lowest in entire India private medical colleges. Stray Vacancy round is a complex final stage in medical college admissions. It’s for students who weren’t allocated seats in earlier rounds. Many students become ineligible for this round due to:

2. Not participating in earlier option entry rounds

To be eligible, students must carefully follow all counseling procedures. Missing steps can result in losing the opportunity to participate in this final round.

All the private medical colleges in Bangalore keep a very similar fee structure in their NRI and Q quota seats. The difference gap among different medical colleges is very low. This is mainly because of the Location, Bangalore.

The Fee structure would be in the range of 1.15 Cr to 1.85 Cr when calculated for 4.5 years depending upon the colleges. This Fee is only the tuition fee and the other fees involved would be Misc fees that every college charges and Hostel Fee.

Choosing the Cheapest Medical college without donation as per NEET Rank

Direct MBBS admission in Bangalore without NEET is not possible. To get admission, you must:

2. Register with the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) for counseling on their official website: cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.
3. Attend all levels of KEA counseling for state quota (85%) and private college seats (100%).

For MBBS admission to deemed universities, you must participate in the All-India NEET UG counseling conducted by the Medical Counseling Committee of India (MCCI).

Before NEET, MBBS admissions were easier with direct entry by meeting basic criteria and paying fees. However, in 2024, NEET qualification is mandatory for MBBS admission across India.

MBBS Admission in Bangalore for Other State Students

To get MBBS admission in Bangalore, non-Karnataka students must qualify for NEET-UG 2024 and participate in the respective counselling processes.
