One of the most flourished things on campus is the lecture theatre of Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research Coimbatore. These are structured with 4 attached AC Halls. All of them have a seating capacity of 180 students. With Audio and Visual facilities teachers provide their lectures on several topics at once. There is also one AC Hall in the hospital of this facility. It has a seating capacity of 200 and is also nourished with Audio and Visual Facilities.
Examination Hall
The promising aspect of this medical college is the large examination halls. Here a total no of 250 students could take their examination without any disturbance. The two examination halls on the college campus are separated and maintained properly for use. It has soundproof walls and seating arrangements that are different from any other normal examination center. The semester examinations of UG and PG courses are conducted here.
Central Library
The central library of Karpagam Faculty of Medical Sciences and Research Coimbatore is spread over 3200 square meters of campus land. The building of the Library is AC and has a seating capacity of 330 students. In total, there are 11000 Books which include 114 national and international Journals. They remain available for the students to take for 15 days. There is also a separate area for Internal and External reading. The external section is open and also available for many students to sit at once and do their respective studying.
Hostel
Well-furnished hostel rooms are provided to each student in this college. Each room has a bed and a wardrobe, with an attached bathroom. There are separate Hostels for Boys and Girls. In the Men’s hostel, there are 186 Rooms with a capacity of 368 beds and 156 students are accommodated there. And in the women’s hostel, there are 176 Rooms with a capacity of 320 beds and 248 students are accommodated there. With a total capacity of 688 students, this facility provides solace for every resident on campus. There was another accommodation for 85 residents on the campus except for these hostels. A guard is placed before each hostel to guarantee the safety of students. A record book is kept for them to monitor students who leave and enter the hostel.
Residential Quarters
The next reassuring thing for the students on campus is the Residential Quarters. It has 30 quarters for teaching staff and 36 quarters for Non-teaching staff. This residential block is situated sidewise of the departmental blocks and it reassures the facility. There is also a separate residential quarter available for nurses. 90 nurses can stay here.
