Eligibility Criteria for BDS Admission in Tamilnadu
NEET UG Qualification: To get BDS admission, you must have written and passed NEET-UG 2024. Based on your category, you must score:

- Registration & Fee Payment: You must register online and pay a non-refundable registration fee of ₹1,000 and a refundable security deposit of ₹1,00,000.
- Choice Filling: You must lock your preferred colleges/seats during each round. Locked choices cannot be modified.
- Seat Allotment: Based on NEET rank and choice preference, seats are allotted. You must download the allotment order, pay the tuition fee, and join the allotted college.
- Document Verification: You must submit original certificates to the respective colleges at the time of admission.
Eligibility for Counselling Rounds:
- Only if you have registered in Round 1 are eligible for further rounds.
- If you have joined and then resigned after Round 2 can still participate in later rounds but will forfeit the fees.
- If you have been already allotted seats under All India Quota or State Quota in earlier rounds may become ineligible for further rounds.
Important Notes:
- NRI Quota: 15% of Management Quota seats are reserved for NRI candidates. Unfilled NRI seats are converted to general Management Quota seats.
- Minority Seats: Allocated based on Linguistic/Religious Minority Rank List. If not filled, they are reverted to general Management Quota.
- Stray Round: Only for candidates not holding any MBBS/BDS seat.
