  • Candidates from the ST, SC, and OBC categories must have received at least a 40% overall grade in the subjects of physics, chemistry, biology, and English, as well as passing grades in each of these areas separately.
  • The applicant must have earned a high rank on the NEET undergraduate exam.
  • The NEET percentile should be at least 50th for the unreserved category, 45th for the physically handicapped category and 40th for the reserved categories.

Admission Process

  • Regulations set forth by the Indian federal, state, and union territory governments control admission to undergraduate medical programmes at private medical colleges.
  • All medical institutions at the undergraduate level will use the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET), which will be administered by a body selected by the National Commission for Indian System of Medicine (NCISM).
  • A common merit list for all of India as well as a state-by-state merit list of eligible candidates will be created based on the results of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test, and only those candidates from the respective category will be considered for admission to undergraduate programmes.
