Step-by-Step Procedure for B.Tech Admission
Step 1: Understand the Admission Quotas
CIT Kodagu follows a quota system for undergraduate admissions. It’s crucial to understand the different quotas and their respective requirements. The government quota accounts for 50% of the seats filled through the Commissioner of Entrance Exam (CEE) via COMED-K based on merit.
Step 2: Apply for the Government Quota
If you wish to be considered for the government quota, you must participate in the COMED-K entrance examination conducted by the CEE. This examination evaluates your academic aptitude and serves as the basis for merit-based admission to the government quota seats.
Step 3: Apply for the Management Quota
The remaining 50% of seats are part of the management quota, including an employee quota for Muthoot. To apply for the management quota, you must submit an online application to CIT Kodagu, the designated authority for managing this quota.

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programs:
- The application fee is INR 500 for management and CET.
- The membership fee for both CET and Management is Rs. 1000.
- Applicants are invited to fill the unfilled seats of KEA and submit the applications as soon as possible on or before the last date( COMED-K / CET / JEE / AIEEE and college admission exam rankings are considered).
- Branch preferences are based on merit.
- The allotment of seats is against the total number of vacancies.
- The finalized merit list will be displayed on the notice board, and the candidates will be informed over the phone.
