Admission Procedure

• Mode Of Admission: Through the National Testing Agency’s (NTA) NEET, which is followed by single-window counseling provided by the Tamil Nadu government. Application for admission must be submitted to the Directorate of Indian Medicine and Homoeopathy’s screening committee in Chennai.

Eligibility for Admission 

• A candidate for the inaugural BHMS degree course must be 17 years old at the time of admission or will be 17 by December 31 of the admission year.
• Candidates must have received the minimum qualifying marks in each of the following groups of topics in order to pass the qualifying examination for the Higher Secondary Certificate Examination (Academic), which is administered by the Tamil Nadu State Board. Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology (or) Physics, Chemistry, Biology with another course (improvement grades will not be taken into account).
• Different Communities: a minimum of 50% overall in Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Botany and Zoology, all science-related subjects.
• Most Backward Classes: A minimum of 45% overall in the science subjects of physics, chemistry, biology, or botany and zoology is required for backward classes.
• Most Backward Classes: An overall score of at least 40% in the science areas of physics, chemistry, biology, or botany and zoology.
