Admission Process for Undergraduate Programs (B.Tech):

Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programs:

• Applicants need to pass the administered higher secondary test by the Kerala State Board or its equivalent recognized by any university in Kerala is mandatory for eligibility For B.Tech.
• Half – 50% of the possible points in mathematics and a Mathematics and total of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
• Candidates belonging to socially and educationally backward classes must have an annual family income below the prescribed limit fixed by the Government of Kerala and meet the minimum requirement of 45% marks in the subject Mathematics and an overall score of 45%  in physics, chemistry and mathematics.
• For applicants from educationally and socially underprivileged backgrounds,  on the basis of passing the qualifying examination with no specific percentage requirement.
• Qualification in the State Level Entrance examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations or equivalent State level/National level Entrance Examination approved by the Government of Kerala is mandatory.
• Decisions made by the University in all matters related to selection and admission are considered final, and any violations may lead to ineligibility for University Examinations and the possible withdrawal or suspension of affiliation.

Admission Process for Postgraduate Programs:

• Candidates are eligible for admission to M. Tech. This program covers those who have earned or qualified for a bachelor’s degree in technology or engineering from a school that has received All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) approval.
• Those who have passed the engineering graduate aptitude test (GATE) and are admitted to the M. Tech. Programs can receive a Half-Time Teaching Assistantship (HTTA) as per the Human Resource Development Ministry (MHRD) and AICTE rules.
• Sponsored applicants from national laboratories, businesses, R&D centers, and educational institutions holding a Bachelor’s degree in engineering are also eligible for admission to the M. Tech. Program.
• Foreign nationals seeking admission through the Indian Council of Cultural Relations, Government of India, are eligible to apply.

Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Programs:

• Graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology from an AICTE-approved institution are eligible for the M. Tech. Program.
• Qualification criteria for candidates with MCA/MSc qualifications will be determined as per AICTE and Government of Kerala guidelines and specified separately.
