Ramaiah Institute of Nursing Education and Research (RINER) is a private college situated in the heart of Bengaluru city. It was established in the year 1987 by Late Founder Chairman Sri MS Ramaiah. The college offers various nursing programs as UG and PG courses. Ragging is prohibited in the college.

ADMISSION AND ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
Here, I will help you to know about the admission & eligibility criteria which you should know to get admission to the college.
If you are eligible for admission to the college, you can either apply online after visiting the website of the college or directly to the college and get the Application form. You should send the scanned copies of the necessary documents to the college or send self-attested copies before the required time.
If you want admission to the college, then you should have the following eligibility for different courses:
- BSc. Nursing Course.
You should have completed the age of 17 on or before 31st December of the year of admission and the maximum age limit is 35 years.
You should have passed 10+2 with Science (PCB) & English with a minimum percentage of 60% marks from the recognized boards under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or any other equivalent Board.
You have to be medically fit and mentally sound.
Good character and conduct are also required.
- PBSc. Nursing Course.
You should be a Registered Nurse or Registered midwife of equivalent with any State Nursing Registration Council.
Admission will be based on merit in the previous qualifying examination you have attended.
The age limit should be a maximum of 45 years on May 31st of the year of admission.
You should have passed B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and should have completed it from an institution recognized by the INC.
You should have a professional experience certificate for a minimum of one year after Basic B.Sc. Nursing /Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree registration.
You should be medically fit.
- Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing Course.
You have to pass GNM with at least 60% of the marks.
You should have a diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery and should be a registered nurse.
For admission, your age should be between 20 – 48 years.
You will also have to be medically fit.
A good personal and professional record is needed too.
- GNM Nursing Course.
For admission for the GNM course, you have to pass 10 +2 with Science subjects and English and must have scored a minimum of 60% of marks in 12th. You should have passed 10+2 from a recognized board under CBSE/ ICSE/ AISSCE/ SSCE/ HSCE or any other equivalent board.
You should be medically fit and should have good character and conduct.
The age limit is from 17 to 35 years for admission to the college.
