Admission Process

  1. Qualify NEET:- To be eligible for admission, obtaining an acceptable score in NEET is necessary.
  2. Register for KEA Counselling:- After qualifying, you must register for KEA Counselling through its official website.
  3. Payment for Participation:- To complete your registration, you will need to pay a fee that falls within the range of INR 1000-5000, depending on your category. Additionally, there may be a refundable security deposit that will be automatically transferred back to the same bank account from which you made the initial payment after the counselling process. Alternatively, the deposit may be adjusted against the fee of your allotted seat.
  4. Upload the documents:- Before downloading the draft application, you must enter all the required details and upload scanned copies of the necessary documents. Then, accept the declaration.
  5. Document verification:- This step will be conducted online for non-Karnataka students and offline for Karnataka students and NRI quota students. After that, you need to download the verification slip and obtain the secret key and password for option entry.
  6. Option Entry in KEA Counselling:-You must enter your 1st preference as Adichunchanagiri Institute of Medical Sciences during KEA counseling. You can prioritize the options entered and fill in as many choices as possible, giving yourself better chances of seat allotment. However, thorough research on the quality of the colleges entered should be performed in order to get the best choices.   • For participation in the MopUp round, there could be a security deposit of 1 lakh which is refundable later or can be adjusted in the fees of the college allotted.
  • For the final round, such as the stray vacancy round or extended stray vacancy, you must deposit the entire fee amount in advance through KEA using a Demand Draft (DD). Once the payment is made, the option entry portal will be enabled for you to do option entry. Therefore, it is recommended to carry DDs of different denominations.
