The Department of Medical Education (DME) on behalf of the state Government of Madhya Pradesh conducts the counselling process for admission to PG courses in the medical field. Candidates who clear the NEET PG 2024 examination by meeting the required cut-off can attend the MP NEET PG 2024 counselling.

MP NEET PG Counselling 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The MP NEET PG Counselling 2024 eligibility criteria for admission are as follows:

  • Applicants must be domiciled in Madhya Pradesh to be eligible for the first round of state counselling.
  • Candidates who are non-residents of Madhya Pradesh and who completed their MBBS from a college outside the state can only apply after Round One. Their seat allotment will take place only after seats have been allocated to MP domicile candidates in the MP PG medical admission process.
  • Candidates are required to have completed their MBBS course degree from a medical college recognized by the NMC.
  • Qualified for the NEET PG 2024.
  • Completed mandatory one-year internship. 
  • Must be registered with either the NMC or SMC.

MP PG Medical Counselling 2024 Admission Process

The DME, Madhya Pradesh, is responsible for conducting MP NEET PG Counseling 2024 for admission to 50% of the state quota in both government and private medical colleges in the state.

Candidates who qualify for the NEET PG 2024 cut-off are eligible for the MP NEET PG 2024 counselling which usually takes place in two rounds. 

If seats are still available after the second round of counselling, a third round, called the mop-up round, is held. If there are any remaining vacancies after this, DME Madhya Pradesh may hold an extra stray vacancy round. 

The entire process is done online, allowing candidates to fill and lock their selection through the counselling portal.

The MP PG Medical Admission 2024 process is expected to offer a total of 830 seats across MD, MS and PG Diploma courses.

MP NEET PG Counselling 2024 Registration

In order to attend the MP NEET PG Counselling 2024, candidates have to register online through the official website of DME. The registration process is available twice: once before the first round of MP PG Medical 2024 counselling and again before the clearing round.

Enter required details as per candidate eligibility like NRI status, MBBS/BDS completion details, NMC/DCI recognition, residential and category details. 

After filling in the data, click “Save data”, then upload all the necessary documents and choose “Save attachments”. Once all the details are saved and displayed on the screen, proceed with the registration payment by clicking “Proceed to Payment”.

At the time of registration, candidates have to pay a non-refundable fee irrespective of their category. After completing registration, candidates should save and print a copy of the MP PG Medical Application Form 2024 for their records.
