- The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
- Candidates should have qualified in the NEET PG entrance examination conducted by NBE.
- The candidate ought to have an MBBS degree awarded by the Tamil Nadu Dr.M.G.R Medical University in the state or from any other institution and must be a bona fide resident of Tamil Nadu.
- If the candidate has completed their MBBS degree from an institution accredited by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and their parents possess a resident certificate, it is mandatory to complete the compulsory Rotatory Residential Internship by March 31, 2024.
- The candidate must also be registered with the State Medical Council or the Medical Council of India.

– If you apply to college, you are entitled to a second consultation to improve your place while maintaining your current one.
– If your seat is upgraded, your previous allocation will automatically be cancelled. Seat allotment process will be done online based on your merit and preference provided by you.
– Physically challenged candidates have to appear before the medical board in person, the schedule is available on the official website https://tnhealth.tn.gov.in/tngovin/dme/dme.php.
– Candidates eligible for reserved categories will get admission as per government rules applicable on the day of counseling.
– OBC candidates who belong to the creamy layer will not be eligible for the benefits of OBC category.
Step 3: Document Verification and Legal Consequences
– If the applicants do not submit the necessary original documents or if hidden or falsified information is revealed at any stage, they will lose all benefits derived from the results of the entrance examination.
– Legal action will be taken against anyone who attempts to obtain a seat fraudulently.
– During the admission process, the identity of applicants will be carefully verified.
– Any discrepancy will be considered a serious violation that will result in the cancellation of their application and possible legal consequences.
Important things to note:
- If he applicant does not participate in the online counseling session or does not take up the assigned seat within the specified time, he/she loses the right to be accepted.
- Once a candidate makes a selection during online counselling, it cannot be changed under any circumstances.
- Requests for re-allotment of seats assigned in the first and second rounds will not be considered.
