COURSE

The SDM college provides undergraduate, postgraduate, and P.hD courses in the field of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences.

1. Bachelors of Naturopathy and Yogic Sciences (BNYS)—

It is an undergraduate program that aims at providing the students with all the skills that will help them at delivering Naturopathy and Yoga health services efficiently.

Duration of the course—Five and a half years (which includes four and a half year of academics and one year of compulsory rotatory  internship)

In this, the students are motivated to provide a promotive, curative, and rehabilitative medicinal cure and therapies.

2. Doctor of Medicine (M.D)- Naturopathy —-

It is a postgraduate program that aims at providing the students with an understanding of the specified course in order to provide quality care to the patients identifying the root cause and curing them clinically.

There are two courses available under this category.

1. MD in Clinical Yoga–

It is a three-year course that gives you an insight into the knowledge of Yogic sciences and the various ways in which you can practice it in order to accentuate the life of the being.

1. MD in Nutrition and Dietetics—

This is a three years postgraduate program which offers you all the diet and nutrition-related knowledge in the field of Naturopathy and Yogic sciences.

3. Doctoral Courses (P.hD) in Naturopathy and Yoga

ELIGIBILITY

Eligibility stands for the minimum criteria that are required for a candidate to take up the admission procedure.

Minimum eligibility criteria for admission in Bachelor of Naturopathy and Yogic Science:

• The candidate must qualify for the NEET-UG entrance exam. But, this year due to COVID-19 pandemic and issues, NEET is not mandatory for joining BNYS colleges.
• Candidate must have completed 17 years of age by 31 December of the commencing academic year.
• For the candidate seeking admission, they should have passed 10+2/PUC/PDC examination from a recognized university or equivalent to that from a recognized educational board.
• The candidate must have passed with a minimum passing aggregate of 45% including subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology in the qualifying examination.

Minimum eligibility criteria for admission to MD in Naturopathy and yogic sciences:

• The candidate must have passed its undergraduate course of BNYS with a minimum aggregate of 50% from a recognized university.
• They should be registered.
• The candidate must have completed its one-year rotatory internship.
