Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Program (B. Tech)

  • Pass in 12th grade and studied Mathematics and  Physics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry as an optional subject with a minimum of 45 marks put together in these subjects are eligible for admission. The main criteria for the SC/ST category students is that they should pass their Higher Secondary examination.
  • The Office of the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Kerala undertakes allocation of the students in compliance with the rules of the government.

Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Program (M. Tech)

  • For government-aided programs, the eligibility is a B.Tech degree in the respective branch. 
  • Applicants with a valid GATE score are eligible for scholarships. 
  • Admission to 50% of the seats, for self-financing programmes, is based on merit from the rank list prepared by the Director of Technical Education. The remaining 50% of seats are for applicants admitted under the management quota.
  • The Office of the CEE, Kerala undertakes allocation of the students in compliance with the rules of the government.

Eligibility Criteria for Doctor of Philosophy (Ph. D)  

  • The age limit prescribed for a supervisor/co-supervisor at the time of enrolment of the scholar shall be as per UGC norms.
  • Applicants holding a master’s degree in fields of engineering/technology, architecture or alternatively holding a master’s degree by research in domains of engineering/technology with at least attaining 6.5 points in CGPA  OR 
  • Master’s Degree in specializations of Basic Sciences or Mathematics with at least 6.5 in CGPA OR 
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Applications with at least 6.5 in CGPA.

  • Allotment memo issued by CEE, second phase.
  • Fee receipt from CEE.
  • Two copies of the Datasheet of KEAM 2023.
  • Admit card for entrance examination 2023.
  • Original and copy of Xth marksheet and certificate. If the date of birth is not mentioned in the 10th standard certificate, then the applicant has to produce a document such as a birth certificate (original and a copy).
  • Original and copy of Degree marksheet and certificate.
  • Original and copy of Degree Certificate/Provisional Certificate.

Bachelor of Technology

The placement process in the institution has been completely automated using the placement management portal, and the final-year students have to register in this portal.

The cell has been well-equipped to conduct training and placement drives on the campus. The facilities of the placement unit include conditioned halls with a total seating capacity of around 1400, four computing facilities with a capacity of around 300 computers, and 15 cabins to conduct interviews and group discussions.
