Eligibility Criteria for Undergraduate Programs:
- Students belonging to the categories of general, Christian, and sports quota can apply.
- Candidates ought to be citizens of India for regular admissions.
- The applicants should have completed 17 years of age as of 31 December.
- The candidates who have passed +2 in Kerala, or examinations recognized as an equivalency, with Physics, Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry as an optional subject with a minimum of 45% marks achieved in the above subjects, collectively, are eligible to apply. The marks secured in the subject of Computer Science will be taken into consideration, provided the applicant has not studied Chemistry.
- The percentage of marks can not be rounded off to the nearest whole number is not permitted.
- The applicants must receive at least 10 points in each of the Engineering Entrance Exam’s Papers I and II, and further ought to be listed in the KEAM Rank List or JEE eligibility.
- For NRI Quota: The Management has been entitled to fill up 15% of seats by admitting students who are children of Non-Resident Indians. For this, a visa copy of either the father, mother, or sponsor in English is required.
Eligibility Criteria for Postgraduate Programs:
- The applicants should be of Indian nationality.
- The candidates ought to have studied the graduate course from an institution approved by the AICTE/Deemed Universities.
- Candidate has to secure 60% aggregate marks in any of the B.Tech programmes.
- Candidates from the SC/ST categories, should have passed in the engineering degree course. Applicants from the Socially and Economically Backward Classes (SEBC), should secure a minimum of 54% aggregate marks in the engineering degree examination is a requisite.
- Applicants who have passed the examinations of AMIE / AMIETE and should satisfy the below conditions:
- An updated GATE score.
- Secured at least 55% marks for section B in the AMIE/AMIETE examination.
- At least three years of work experience in the area of specialization post acquiring the qualifying degree.
- Candidates who have attempted the final semester examination are eligible to apply, however, has passed all the subjects up to and including the 6th-semester exam (8th semester for the students of Bachelor of Architecture). Candidates have to submit qualifying degrees.
- Admission would be restricted to those with a valid GATE score, however, is relaxed in the case of sponsored candidates.
- Candidates from the Kerala State without a valid GATE score will be considered, provided the seats remain vacant due to a shortage of candidates with a valid GATE score. If seats remain vacant, candidates from other states will be considered for admission.
Eligibility Criteria for Doctor of Philosophy:
- Applicants should hold a Master’s degree in Engineering/Technology, Architecture, or a Master’s degree by Research in Engineering/Technology with at least a CGPA of 6.5 along with a valid GATE score.
- Applicants ought to hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics or Basic Sciences with at least a CGPA of 6.5. Such applicants ought to have qualified through national-level examinations such as UGC-CSIR NET.
- Candidates belonging to the SC/ST and differently-abled categories would be eligible for admission with a minimum CGPA of 5.5 at the Master’s level. Other conditions will remain the same as those for the general category candidates.

The Department of Placement and Training helps to enhance the employability skills of the final year students along with nurturing the overall development of personality.
The placement division conducts on-campus and off-campus recruitments and pre-placement training programs through aptitude, mock interviews, tests, group discussions, and presentation skills along with the Department of Humanities and the core departments. The institute also conducts more than 100,000 aptitude questions in various areas in a cloud environment.
Additionally, the Placement Assistance Cell of each department undertakes an evaluation of the performance of the students. The said evaluation assists the placement cell and helps to design strategies for improvement of the students as per their weaknesses.
